Not really. It's just an awesome analogical attack on Bristol Palin's reasoning behind her chin surgery. That reminds me, I really should do a piece on the plastic surgery of Kathy Griffin (via omgblog)

Deer In The Headlights, The Levi Johnston Story
Yes, another idiot with a book coming out (reference my previous post on Tim Tebow). The book is aptly titled "Deer in the Headlights". Actually, this book cover has me curious to at least flip through the book really quick so I'll have to head over to my local Borders (if it hasn't closed with the Borders Bankruptcy nonsense) and take a peak when the book drops in September. As a struggling writer, I have to ask myself: Why does this douche deserve to get published and not me??? To quote Manila Luzon: "What about ME???"

The Plastic Surgery of Bristol Palin
Bristol Palin after possible plastic surgery
Typically, when a celebrity undergoes plastic surgery the changes are so minor that only individuals paying close attention (or with expertise in the area, like the surgeons themselves), are able to spot the differences. An example of a celebrity for which that assertion is true is Halle Berry, who has certainly had a significant amount of work done, but the changes are relatively minor and accumulated over time, so generally not noticeable to the casual observer. Bristol Palin does not belong to this category as her "new face" can only be due to surgical work. In spite of attempts at denial, the drastic changes that have occurred in Bristol's face cannot be attributed to loss of baby fat . Let's take a look at the likely surgical procedures that Bristol has undergone by looking at before and after images.
Bristol Palin on the election trail in 2007
Frankly, politics aside, Bristol was not an unattractive young woman to begin with, but her face was rounder (due to a higher density of adipose tissue), her chin less prominent than presently, her eyelids more obvious, and her face overall less contoured. Loss of early life fat can cause the face to appear more contoured, but the changes in Bristol are too sudden and significant to be attributed solely to that. So what changes are likely to have been made? Bristol Palin's new face can likely be attributed to: (1) chin implant, (2) rhinoplasty, (3) blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), (4) liposuction of face and neck. Anything beyond that is mostly speculation. A general loss of fat in the face naturally (via weight loss) is unlikely to account for the increased prominence of her chin; her face is nothing less than drastically altered and it is very likely that facial liposuction is a major component of this. Facial (and neck) liposuction is less common in the United States and Canada than it is in countries like South Korea and Japan and therefore some Americans are not only less liable to notice it, but are actually entirely unaware of it. Certain pictures that have surface of Bristol lately suggest that liposuction of the face is the single most likely procedure for her to have undergone recently. Is it possible that Bristol has undergone other minor tweaks as well, such as (believe it or not) cheek implants, brow implants, lip injections, cosmetic dentistry, etc? Of course it is possible, but the four procedures listed above are the ones for which there is the most evidence.
