Get Your Very Own Negro And Indian Dolls!
I know that purchasing a pair of embarrassing Indian dolls that "drink and wet" was on the top of my bucket list, that's for sure. But that's just me. We've come a long way, America, haven't we??? These images have to be closely inspected to be believed. I guess we just have to be happy that the Indian doll isn't sporting feathers and carrying a fistful of hair from a freshly scalped white person.

The Mad Men Barbie and Ken Dolls
Mad Men is one of those shows that manages to be popular while still being somewhat cerebral, which Hollywood, the New York movers and shakers, and most people in a position of power think should be impossible because they are all cynical to the degree that they think Americans are extremely stupid Twilight readers. Rant aside, I came across these Mad Men character dolls and, given that this blog is about reality television, robots, and human automatons, I thought the product deserved a nod. The faces and hairstyles look personalized enough to give the pieces value as collectibles. (via Incredible Things)
Barbie debuted in 1959 and Mad Men began in 1960. That's some good timing.
