Rest in Peace: Jeret Peterson, Olympic Medalist!

It's a sad day today.  Jeret Peterson, a silver medalist in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, allegedly committed suicide yesterday.  According to the NY Post, Mr. Peterson called police in his town in Utah telling them that he was going to take his life, and when police arrived on the scene he was already dead from a gunshot wound.  Several sites are reporting that Jeret had dealt with demons recently, related to losing over half a million dollars by playing blackjack, as well as childhood trauma in the form of sexual abuse and deaths in his immediate family.  Rest in Peace, Jeret!

Jeret won a silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver
