Jersey Shore Season 3, The Reunion

Last night the Jersey Shore reunion special aired on MTV and basically it was a forum for the network to show some of the best clips from the season but, as anyone that watches the show might have expected, a significant amount of time was devoted to clearing the air on certain issues that arose during the season, especially the Sam and Ron drama.  Before I get to that, what was interesting to see was how the tide has swung out of Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino's favor in the house.  The house mates are all starting to realize that Mike craves drama and that he is an instigator and a snitch even if he doesn't want to acknowledge it.  Having the cast watch clips of Mike at work definitely made that pretty obvious.  But on to the real drama: Sam and Ron.  I was surprised to see that the two really aren't over the drama that happened in the house.  Ron was still really pissed at Sam about her texting Arvin, seeing it as a personal betrayal, but even Julissa (the host of the reunion special) mentioned that there seemed to be a double standard at work, because Sam didn't do anything that Ron didn't do in Miami.  She never actually cheated on Ron.  In spite of that, it looks like these two are officially over, though the way Sam was acting, I wouldn't be surprised if we hear in the future that they are back together.  The highlight of the special came when Deanna "the blast in the glass" declared that she does not "lick butt" with Pauly D asking: "nobody asked you that!"  Next stop: Italia!
