Black Man Leads Foundation To Give Whites Only Scholarships

It's an interesting country we live in.  Marcus Carter, a Black man, has teamed up with a friend of his, whom he served tours with in Iraq, to establish a Whites-only scholarship.  The organization, a non-profit, is called the Former Majority of America Foundation and its goal is to help white kids go to college.  What's wrong with that?  Possibly nothing (I haven't decided yet), but there is something wrong with appointing a Black man the vice president of such a foundation.  Why would he want to be a part of an organization that seems to exist primarily as a jab at his people?  This foundation seems to suggest that there are too many scholarships for minorities and not enough for white people.  Is this scholarship necessary?  There are scholarships and grants (at least in New York State) for low income people of any race or ethnicity.  Does there need to be a scholarship with such a confusing message?  You be the judge.

Black Dynamite Cartoon Coming To Adult Swim.

Everyone's favorite spoof of a 70s Blaxploitation film is coming to the small screen.  Adult Swim has announced that they have picked up the rights to a Black Dynamite cartoon, with plans for it to drop some time in 2012.  There are even plans for there to be a comic book released as well to coincide with the cartoon.  I don't know.  Black Dynamite (2009) was some pretty awesome shizz and I don't know how well it will translate to the small screen.  I'm no jive turkey, I just tells it like it is.  A cable network really needs to make a Black Dynamite TV show, that's what they need to do.  Michael Jai White needs work, god damn it!  Give that man a job!
